Kirsten & Jeff (part 1)

This past weekend was a whirlwind of photography - a rehearsal dinner, a wedding, and a golf course shoot (for a past bride)! So I will leave you with some shots of Kirsten and Jeff at the Phillips Museum during their rehearsal dinner. They are just about the coolest couple ever and had the most laid-back and fun ceremony I have ever witnessed (the groom sang some very professional sounding acappella with his friends). More on that next week.

Victoria, Andrew & John

Patsy knew me before I could walk, talk or do anything very coherently. She is a great family friend and it was such an honor and pleasure to take an official family portrait several years ago. This time around instead of a formal picture all we had to do was have a good time and shoot "au natural" which is my favorite thing to do. Victoria, Andrew & John were the focus of this "family portrait" and they were incredible! I decided it would just be perfect to take them down to the lake and get some fun shots down there. Apparently a swarm of wasps thought that was a pretty good idea too! Even after we all got stung we kept shooting - now that's dedication (on their part!) Thankfully no one was allergic (well I am minorly, but nothing a couple of Benedryl wont cure!) and the shoot came to a happy ending.

Lisa & Nik

You might remember Lisa and Nik from an earlier e-session,and ever since I met them I couldn't wait for their wedding! (I realize I do start sounding like a broken record, but all my couples are fabulous!) Lisa and Nik are just the kind of people you want to have as friends - they are radiant, have great sense of humor and are incredibly caring, which was reflected by all of their family members and friends. It was such a pleasure spending Labor Day weekend with all of you. Congratulations to Nik and Lisa!!

So here are some images of the day.

Special thanks to 'a most creative affair' for making everything gorgeous and run smoothly.
